Ryan graduated with degrees in Journalism and English from Ohio State, where he was the Editor-in Chief of The Lantern, OSU’s student run daily newspaper. With that in mind, you may be thinking, “finally, Kevin got some help.” Sadly though, you are mistaken. Ryan spurned the beautiful world of words and turned his mind to zeros and ones – becoming a self-taught web developer. He worked at Barefoot Proximity for a little over a year designing and coding the interfaces for some of Barefoot’s properties. His experience, however, goes well beyond the work he did in Longworth Hall and far beyond code. Ryan is equal parts designer and developer. And he even has a site dedicated to examples of his well-rounded skills.
Colin is our co-op from DAAP (The University of Cincinnati’s esteemed design school). That means he’s way hipper than the rest of us. Of course Colin plays in a couple bands. He also has a pug dog named Meatwad. He even sports some sweet mutton chops. But none of that got him the gig here. Colin spent time at Juxt Interactive in San Francisco last summer, where he worked on an alternate reality game for Cisco and also a Sprite BuzzMedia campaign. More impressive still, he founded a start-up with two classmates over the winter called Star Banana. They expect to release their first in-house product by the end of the summer.
